POSITION TITLE: DIRECTOR 1 – MARKET MANAGEMENT GPS
LOCATION: RESTON, VA, BUT WILL CONSIDER VIRTUAL
REPORTS TO: VICE PRESIDENT OF MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS, GLOBAL
INDUSTRIES
DESCRIPTION:
The incumbent will be responsible for building global industry and client centric marketing programs mapping
client/industry needs to the Companies Capabilities including understanding macro industry trends and working in
concert with Sales and the Business Practice for an integration go-to-market approach. Work closely with the industry
practice, the company marketing community and other company BU’s, especially our Outsourcing and Technology
groups to drive profitable growth strategies for the company in this market segment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and execute an annual marketing plan for the company in Global Public Sector industry, and the target 500
clients within that industry. The Marketing Strategy will be based on the business strategy of the GFS business
• Understanding the industry and the trends impacting the clients in order to build awareness, consideration and
preference marketing programs for this industry segment. Overall the individual will prime the messaging and
content framework for Company solutions and capabilities in Global Public Sector
• The individual would be the Marketing executive for key accounts in Global Public Sector, and work closely with
the Field Marketing team and design specific programs tailored to the clients in the industry segment that drive
awareness, consideration and preference
• The individual would leverage their understanding of the industry in order to assist in the annual strategic planning
process and development of the annual business plan. The marketing plan would then need to be developed
based on the business strategy of the practice to achieve the company objectives. The marketing plan would
include the strategy and programs including: Awareness, Thought Leadership, Demand Generation, and Sales
Enablement components
• Execute the Marketing strategy for Global Public Sector – leveraging Field Marketing, Corporate
Communications, Create Media Services, and other groups within the Comapnies Marketing community
QUALIFICATIONS:
Assist in the strategic planning development and production/execution of associated global marketing plan in order to
develop marketing strategy and tactics to achieve the Organization objectives
1. BA Degree in Commerce, Business, Economics or Marketing
2. Extensive Strategic Marketing experience
3. SME in Global Public Sector
4. B2B Marketing Experience – Services focus
5. Ability to influence change in a highly matrixed environment
6. Strong communications and collaboration skills
**DESIRED**
1. MBA preferred
2. Basic Microsoft knowledge (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
