Job Description Company: CONFIDENTIAL Position Title: VP, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT Location: RESTON, VA Reports To: PRESIDENT Description: The incumbent will oversee all the Business Development activities for the Federal Systems group and manage new business opportunities to grow profitable multi-year business accounts by leveraging the complete company portfolio. Responsibilities: · Manage a high-powered group of Business Development Executives responsible for winning new business opportunities within the federal environment · Formulate capture strategies · Oversee the GWAC vechicles · Formulate strategies to win multi million dollar deals to expand business in the federal environment · Build the business, cultivate service opportunities and establish engagement to ensure profitable revenue growth for the company · Function as an industry expert · Evaluate the client's business strategy, objectives and requirements · Sell (i.e., qualifies, forecasts, prices, negotiates) services within one’s area of expertise · Use advanced consulting methodologies and translate the client's long-range business plans into services strategies · Analyze the market, industry, geography and current talent within the workforce and use this information to develop a strategic direction for the organization · Interface with the client's most senior executive team to generate additional business · Interface at the client's senior management levels, up to the CXO level Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree 2. Extensive Business Development experience in the federal environment 3. Ability to lead, manage and develop large teams 4. Proven track record in winning multi million dollar deals in the Federal marketplace 5. Extensive network established with C-Level executives in the federal environment, and ability to interact and maintain excellent professional relationship with them 6. Extensive consulting experience and knowledge of advanced consulting methodologies 7. Experience in developing new business opportunities within the federal environment **Desired** 1.
