Job Description
|
Arlington Public Schools is looking to hire a software developer / XP coach to work
this Summer on our SchoolTool competency tracking application.
Specifically, we are looking for someone available beginning June 30 for
approximately 4 to 6 weeks of work doing the following:
1. Attend a 3 day development sprint from June 30 to July 2 and work with
SchoolTool developer Alan Elkner to complete SchoolTool's competency tracking
gradebook.
2. Test and bug fix the application after the sprint.
3. Mentor / Coach (a la Google Summer of Code) four young Zope developers
working on the development branch of the application after the sprint.
SchoolTool is a Zope3 application, but this may be an opportunity for a solid Plone
developer looking to enhance their Zope3 knowledge.
