Job Description
|
Client is looking to create a consumer website where viewers can download and view RFP's and RFI's. It's a short-term contract, as the client needs their site up and running in 2 weeks per the deadline by the federal government. There are 12 employees who will need to log in and upload documents. The system will then need to be viewed via the Internet where people can view and download documents without logging in. The client is currently running Plone v.2.5 in production. They have guidelines, not requirements, as to how they need the web pages to look - they will have a minimal design, simple colors with the company logo. There will be approximately 10-12 pages max on the site. The work for the position will be done in Rockville, MD.
Candidates need to have previous development experience with Plone, Python and Zope.
Scope of Work:
- The creation and development of a procurement website.
Website Design
- It will provide read-only access to the public to view and download RFP and RFI documents.
Content Development
- Interviews/conference calls/content development
- Interviewing of principles to acquire content. Writing and editing of additional content as needed.
Plone Development
- Plone Style creation
- Conversion of the current HTML prototype to a working Plone site. Includes style and layout creation of a Plone Theme or Skin.
Product Development
- Creation of products for all categories of RFP, RFI and other postings.
Testing and Deployment
- Assurance of product integrity and compliance
