Position Title: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Location: NEW YORK, NY
Reports To: PRESIDENT
Description: The incumbent will support the new business team of the company.
Responsibilities: The Business Development Manager will also report to the agency Directors tasked with new business development.
· Generate leads independently by researching and contacting appropriate prospects in target verticals. This may and often will involve cold calling
· Work with new business team to identify new prospects/leads by using
online tools, scanning appropriate periodicals and other media, as well as
other approaches
· Work with new business team to build proposals and responses to RFP's, develop creative sales presentations targeted to particular categories and for specific targets
· Coordinating and scheduling presentation meetings as required
Qualifications: The incumbent should have excellent verbal and written communication skills with interest or proven track record in being a social butterfly. Motivated self-starter with creativity and respect to new business lead development.
1. Bachelor’s degree in Arts or Science
2. Professional experience in a digital sales environment, digital agency, or media/advertising sales support role
3. Experience working on PowerPoint, Word and Excel
